Emergency Number:  

Call the regular Adventures in Missions number (770-983-1060).  The emergency line will be available to you through the receptionist or through an option on the voicemail menu.  The emergency line is monitored 24/7.  This is for true emergencies only (e.g., a death in the family) – not to see if Racers have arrived at a location, to find out why you haven’t heard from them, etc.

Starting Point:  

Explore the Parent Resource Site and download the Parents Guide.  It will answer a lot of your basic questions.  https://sites.google.com/adventures.org/parentministry/ 

Staying Connected To Other Parents And Your Racer:

  • Parent Facebook Group – This is the primary way we communicate with you, connect with you and encourage you.  Because it is a closed group, you will need to go to the group page and request to join. Search in FB for (launch month, Year) WR parents.  (e.g., January 2021 WR Parents)

  • To see the makeup of the various teams/squads once they are announced – http://www.worldrace.org/?tab=participants – (Or:  Go to worldrace.org, then click on Racers, then Find a Racer, Find a Squad.  Scroll down to find your Squad).

  • Subscribe to your Racer’s blog and the blogs of their teammates – On your Racer’s blog, along the left side (when viewed on a laptop or computer), you’ll see their teammates.  By clicking the link under their picture you will get to their blog and can subscribe there.

  • To see the most recent blogs from an entire squad or team – Last 100 blogs by squad:  http://www.worldrace.org/?tab=participants and last 100 blogs by team:  http://www.worldrace.org/?tab=blogs&pteamname=list (or, from the WR website, click on Blogs tab and choose what you’re looking for).

  • World Race Parent Announcement blog – This will be used to communicate information of a more general nature or that might need to be found again after it is posted.  You will be subscribed to this as it gets close to Launch.

Donations and Support Levels:

  • Financial policies and ways to give can be found on the Donate tab of the Adventures in Missions website (https://www.adventures.org/give/donate.asp?giveto=worldrace )

  • For questions, problems, or general help, contact Donor Relations.  They can also help you determine how much more a Racer needs in order to meet their goal.  Please remember that it can take up to two weeks for donations to be received, entered into our donor database and uploaded to Racers’ accounts.

  • Mailing address for donations (do not send regular correspondence to this address):

 To Help Information Get Through To You:

  • We pull our email lists from the Racers’ applications.  Please check with them to make sure they submitted your preferred email address.

  • Emails from Parent Ministry may end up in Spam Folders.  To help avoid this, please add the following email addresses to your contact list.
